Times College of Computer and IT is a recognized institute of Makhanlal Chaturvedi National University Bhopal in the field of computer education in Damoh city for the last 27 years. The foundation of this institute was laid on 11 May 1997 by the Principal of Government Post Graduate College Mr. K.S. Kandhari, freedom fighter Mr. Mahadev Prasad Gupta and the Principal of Government Women's College Mr. in the presence of many dignitaries of Damoh. The name was laid by Dr. P. C. Dubey. At the time of auspicious beginning, the Principal and famous dignitaries expected from this institution that the students of Damoh should be provided high level modern computer education by keeping away from commercialism. Keeping this expectation in mind, the institution successfully conducted university level DCA and PGDCA courses in the initial years and started the 3-year degree course BCA of the University in the year 2001 and 2-year course MSc (cs) in the year 2005. At present, in the huge practical lab of this college, special facility of various printers, scanners and hardware is available along with more than 50 state-of-the-art computers connected to internet and networking. Modern workshop, different classroom guidance and library facility equipped with more than 7000 books are available. In Times College, students are trained by highly educated and experienced teachers. Along with its software course, every student of the college is also given basic information about hardware so that they can become well acquainted with the hardware. On special occasions, additional teaching work is done to the students through guest lectures. Opportunities are also provided through which students get the benefit of specific subject matter. From time to time, the knowledge and performance of the students is enhanced through unit tests, assignments, seminars, personal development and group related to each subject. At the end of the year, students are taken on a tour of an industrial unit to make a project. The institute provides course material free of cost to the students of DCA and PGDCA. Innovative experiments in the courses run by Makhanlal Chaturvedi National University are being completed through our college. Due to the guidance of the college and the hard work of the students, the result of the students of the college has been 100%. In the past years, many students of the center have got employment in government and non-government organizations and all are making their and the college's name famous by giving excellent services in the field of computers. The aim of the college is not only to give computer knowledge to its students, but also to develop them in a multifaceted and all-round way. For the last 25 years, the institute has been leading in Damoh city due to the level and quality of education..
